Consultant Electrophysiology Cardiologist

Opportunity

Permanent full‑time position at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, NewZealand. 80 hours per fortnight. Salary details per ASMS MECA.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology, including EP studies, ablation (RF, PFA, and Cryo), 3D mapping using CARTO, device implantation, outpatient clinics and ward management. The successful candidate will work with a highly experienced EP team in one of the leading centres in NewZealand. Waikato Hospital performs over 300 EP studies and 600 device implants each year. A dedicated EP laboratory and three additional pacing‑capable laboratories (shared with PCI) support the work. The successful candidate can contribute to ongoing research programmes in the department.
