Consultant General Paediatrician

<p><strong>Purpose of role:</strong></p> <p>The Consultant Paediatrician post will work alongside the existing consultant General Paediatricians to further advance the development of the Department of General paediatrics across the Children’s Health Ireland sites. This role will also work with colleagues cross city to development the departments at the new paediatric Outpatients and Urgent Care Centres at Connolly and Tallaght.</p> <p>The appointment of additional consultant general paediatricians will allow for planning and implementing new models of care including rapid access clinics and GP liaison services and new models of inpatient care including the consultant of the week model, in line with the National Model of Care, once a sufficient number of paediatricians have been appointed.
