We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Consultant with a Specialist Interest in Hepatobiliary Medicine to join our team of five Hepatology consultants and eight specialist nurses at the University of Derby and Burton Hospitals (UHDB). Our IQILS-accredited service is based at the Royal Derby Hospital, where patients have access to a dedicated Hepatology ward.

We are a Level 2 Liver Unit providing comprehensive care for all aspects of hepatobiliary disease, including day case paracentesis, liver biopsy, Fibroscan, ERCP, EUS and spyglass cholangioscopy. We are a tertiary referral centre for PTC and TIPSS, supported by four GI radiologists.

We hold weekly specialist hepatobiliary cancer MDT meetings with input from cancer surgeons at Nottingham, and provide specialist outreach clinics at both Derby and Burton. We p...
