Consultant in Acute Medicine

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, passionate, innovative and progressive Consultant who share our vision, to join our Acute Medical Consultant team in the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital.

The appointee will cover all areas of Acute Internal Medicine which include the Acute Medical Unit, Short Stay Unit, Medical SDEC, Virtual Clinics and our Acute Hospital At Home service- EPICENTRE. We are looking for individuals who will lead, teach, innovate, and continue to develop our acute medicine services. There is also opportunity to be involved in research.

Applicants need to demonstrate a wide breadth of knowledge, experience and skills in acute internal medicine. This would include POCUS, leadership and QIP delivery. We also offer a specialty session outside acute medicine and we are willing to consider at joint specialty job plans including frailty, intensive care medicine and toxicology.
