Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist

A fourth Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist position at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The role is based at the Royal Preston Hospital and involves both EMG and EEG sessions with a commitment to adult and paediatric neurophysiology. The role requires participation in the Intra-operative Monitoring Service and support for development of a Video‑telemetry service.

Main duties

• Plan, develop and deliver the Neurophysiology Service for the Directorate in partnership with colleagues.
• Provide direct input to patients, contribute to multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate care within Preston and Chorley hospitals.
• Maintain continuous commitment to patient care, ensuring arrangements for leave and off‑duty periods are in place even if employed part‑time.
