Consultant in Orthodontics (LW)

Applicants are invited for a part-time substantive Consultant Orthodontist. The post holder will work with 1 full-time Consultant, Specialty trainees, DCTs, Orthodontic Therapist and an excellent support team. You will provide complex and multidisciplinary orthodontic treatment and orthognathic care from the hospital based orthodontic services to the residents of Fife. The department manages a wide range of malocclusions. There is an increasing bias towards those requiring multidisciplinary care as there are now several specialist practices in Fife. Weekly joint orthognathic clinics are held with Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery colleagues. Joint clinics with restorative dentistry are held monthly, paediatric Dentistry bimonthly and patients with clefts are seen between Fife and the cleft team in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
