The Royal Hospital for Children (RHC), Glasgow, is the largest paediatric teaching hospital in Scotland. The clinical Haematology and Oncology service provides care for children, predominantly from the West of Scotland, with leukaemia, solid tumours, bleeding disorders, haemoglobinopathy and a range of non‑malignant haematological conditions, and houses the National Haemopoietic Stem Cell Transplant Unit which provides care to the whole of Scotland and at present, Northern and the Republic of Ireland.
