Consultant in Stroke Medicine

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Stroke Medicine on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Stroke Department.

Our client provides hyper acute stroke service at their main site,they have a combined stroke unit,they provide high and low risk TIA clinics in the Evergreen unit. We take part in SSNAP audit and our management is very supportive of our services & they work very well with our key stake holders(ED, Radiology and site team) They have access to CT head and CTA 24/7. The out of hours stroke thrombolysis is provided by telemedicine from home where they are part of the West Kent regional on call rota for out of hours. They have a weekly neuroradiology meeting at DVH and there is a monthly West Kent Thrombolysis Governance meeting where thrombolysed and interesting cases are discussed.
