Consultant / Specialist Fetal Medicine

Responsibilities

• Provide expert diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for fetuses with complex medical conditions using advanced imaging techniques.
• Conduct thorough prenatal assessments, including detailed ultrasound examinations and genetic counseling, to inform expectant parents about fetal health.
• Perform invasive procedures such as amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, and fetal blood transfusions with precision and a commitment to patient safety.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including obstetricians, neonatologists, and geneticists—to ensure comprehensive care for high‑risk pregnancies.

Qualifications

• Hold a Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) and possess a specialist certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with sub‑specialty training in Fetal Medicine.
