Position Overview

Contract External – 1.0 (Full‑time) Grade 6/7.

The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is seeking a qualified teacher to provide high‑quality instruction throughout the school year. Candidates will teach in a classroom environment and are expected to meet all statutory and board‑specific duties.

Qualifications

• Self‑identification with an equity‑deserving group under the federal Employment Equity Act or the provincial Ontario Human Rights Code is required during application.
• Minimum five (5) years of permanent contract teaching experience with another board, demonstrable by resume and application.
• If the candidate teaches French or NSL, must comply with Article 9.02 (vii) (a) – must remain in a French or NSL position for the first five (5) years from hire.
