Responsibilities
- Develop program/project management best practices/templates
- Monitor dependencies across multiple inter‑related projects
- Gather and report consolidated project status and financial information to leadership
- Serve as a central governing body to review/audit adherence to methodologies, budgets, and timing
- Provide full staffing and management for the organization’s major projects/programs
- Apply technical/discipline knowledge as an individual contributor, coaching/mentoring less experienced staff, taking informal supervisory responsibilities, and overseeing work of lower‑level professionals or managing processes and programs
- Set objectives and deliver on own work responsibilities, be a leading expert within a given field, and influence long‑term tactical decisions of the organization
