Cost Accountant (6-months temp role)

**Role Overview: Cost Accountant**

We are seeking a proactive **Cost Accountant** to partner with local operations and manage our financial reporting. In this role, you will analyze financial data, own the standard costing system, and drive the month-end close process under US-GAAP and SOX compliance.

**- Location:** Taneytown, MD 21787
**- Work Schedule:** Mon to Fri, 8 am - 5pm
- **Hourly rate:** 31$ - 39$ per hour
**- Contract:** W2 contract under staffing supplier, with 6-month duration (possible conversion according to performance)

**Key Qualifications**


+ Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and over 4+ years of experience in corporate finance.
+ Expertise with **US-GAAP.and SOX** procedures.
