The Patient and Family Support Team (PFST) offers practical and emotional support to patients and families who are known to our Hospice services, including psychological support, social support, spiritual care, counselling and pre and post bereavement support.

Position

We have an opportunity to join this team as a Counsellor . This is a part time role working 7.5 hours per week , based at the Alan Hudson Centre in Wisbech.

Responsibilities

As Hospice Counsellor you will be responsible for providing a counselling service for those who are referred needing bereavement and / or counselling. You will be responsible for a complex pre and post bereavement caseload, and you will act in an advisory capacity within the organisation and to local partners.
