COUNTERDRUGS PLANS SPECIALIST

Summary About the Position: Serves as subject matter expert for development and implementation of Counterdrug (CD), Counter Narco-Terrorism (CNT), and Countering Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) plans in the USSOUTHCOM, Operations Directorate, Future Operations Division, located in Miami-Dade, Florida. Responsibilities Direct the efforts of USSOUTHCOM Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) to achieve the command's Counterdrug (CD), Counter Narco-Terrorism (CNT), and Countering Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC) strategic goals in the area of responsibility. Represent USSOUTHCOM at meetings and briefs senior staff and high-ranking government officials concerning CD, CNT, and CTOC plans, policies, and agreements. Develop CD, and CNT doctrine, policy, and plans into usable products to support USSOUTHCOM.
