Court of Protection Welfare Solicitor / Paralegal

We are looking for a Solicitor or experienced caseworkers to join our highly respected and friendly Court of Protection welfare team.

Duties would include

• Handling a range of section 16 applications and section 21A challenges.
• A wide variety of day-to-day tasks such as; taking instructions, drafting documents, securing appropriate funding, preparing witness statements, drafting instructions to experts, briefing counsel, attending court and meetings with clients.
• You will often be working with clients who are very vulnerable.
• Dealing with interesting and varied caseloads.
• The opportunity to be involved in wider public law work such as mental health, community care and inquest cases.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for applicants who have the below qualifications and who can demonstrate:
