CPA Articling Student - Assurance, Compilation & Tax

Job Overview Baker Tilly is looking for a CPA Articling Student to join the Assurance, Compilation & Tax team. This role involves preparing financial statements, tax filings, bookkeeping, client communication, and collaborating with team members to support engagement delivery.

Your role

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including compilations and review engagements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Assist with the preparation of corporate income tax returns (T2s), HST filings, and other applicable tax filings under supervision.

Prepare entries to intermediate level personal income tax returns (T1s) and related schedules, including analysis of common tax issues.

Complete monthly and quarterly bookkeeping engagements, including accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, payroll calculations and remittances, and annual T4 reporting.
