Crane Superintendent

Responsibilities

Supervise daily offshore crane operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable lifting activities. Monitor the condition and performance of crane systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components, under marine environmental conditions. Oversee routine and preventive maintenance inspections and certification of offshore lifting equipment. Ensure all crane systems comply with offshore industry standards and are maintained in optimal working condition. Enforce adherence to marine safety protocols, lifting procedures, and international regulations such as LOLER, API RP 2D, and IMCA guidelines. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspections, maintenance logs, and lifting certifications. Lead and coordinate crane operators, riggers, and maintenance personnel onboard the vessel or offshore facility.
