Crewing Officer – GAC Marine, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Full‑time, on site position.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and execute crew changes of assigned vessels, ensuring they are manned efficiently and timely to minimize overdue days and adhere to client‑specific requirements.
- Process monthly payroll entry, review invoices and perform other ad‑hoc duties for any crew‑related activities.
- Ensure timely mobilization of vessel crew to maintain operational schedules and reduce instances of crew exceeding contractual sea service periods.
- Accurately maintain and regularly update all crew documentation in physical crewing files and the digital crewing management system, guaranteeing all required documents are valid and in place.
- Process crew payroll register monthly, handle reimbursements, avoid arrears and discrepancies.
