Opportunity Description
Salary: The starting salary is £ 62,310, which includes allowances totalling £3,009.
The salary is broken down as £ 59,301 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £ 72,254. Plus, a location allowance of £2,009 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.
Job Summary
The Chief of Staff is a pivotal role within the Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ), working to the Director General of CTPHQ, but also being a key support to the Assistant Commissioner Specialist Operations (ACSO), the four Directors within the Headquarters, and the five OCU Commanders across the Specialist Operations business group. This core role is to help ensure the efficient and effective running of the HQ as a whole, monitoring and identifying issues, problem solving and resolving challenges, and delivering key, often bespoke, pieces of work across a wide range of potential areas, as required.
