Position Summary
: The Custodial Supervisor must plan, organize, oversee and evaluate the work of custodians to ensure the cleanliness of the buildings and facilities across the University's campus.Essential Functions:
Recruit, hire, train, schedule and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of assigned staff to maximize employee performance.
Provide feedback and development opportunities. As the team leader, maintain a healthy, fair, and inclusive work environment by promoting and exercising teamwork and collaboration. Actively promote a professional workplace culture of mutual respect and collegiality for all members of the institution. Work to build positive and cooperative relationships with staff, encouraging them to work toward individual and departmental goals.
