Dairy Farm Senior Stockman

Apt Resources is seeking an experienced Dairy Farm Senior Stockman to join our clients operations. As a Senior Stockman you will be responsible for overseeing the care and management of dairy livestock ensuring high standards of animal welfare and productivity. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of dairy farming practices.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the dairy farm and manage livestock care including feeding milking and health monitoring.
• Oversee the maintenance of barns equipment and pastures ensuring a safe and clean environment for the animals.
• Assist in breeding and reproductive management of the herd.
• Train and mentor junior stockmen and farm staff on best practices for livestock handling.
• Record and analyze data related to production and herd health.
