Data Mapping GIS analyst

Job Description: We are looking for a detail-oriented Transit Data Analyst / GIS Data Analyst to support transit data validation, bus stop reconciliation, and field verification activities for a major public transportation project. The candidate will review and compare information from multiple transit systems, mapping tools, and field observations to ensure bus stop, route, and station data is accurate and up to date. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with data validation, mapping tools, and the ability to investigate and resolve data discrepancies. Responsibilities: Validate and reconcile transit data from GTFS feeds, BusTime, internal databases, and field observations Identify and resolve duplicate or conflicting stop IDs, route IDs, and location information Compare algorithm outputs with transit source data to ensure accuracy Use mapping and imagery tools such as Google Street View, Cyclomedia, and GIS platforms for stop verification Review bus stop signage, r...
