Data Scientist

Summary of Duties

Reporting to a Manager in Information Technology Services (ITS), the Data Scientist will work as part of a collaborative team to apply data analytics, machine learning and statistical modelling techniques to enhance service delivery through data informed decision making, automating municipal processes and supporting the overall digital modernization efforts for ITS. This position will contribute to the development of enterprise‑wide data and artificial intelligence strategies and leverage advanced analytical techniques to enhance the operational efficiency with divisions across the corporation.
