Job Description – Dean, School of Education The Dean shall be the academic and administrative head of the School of Education and shall be responsible for the overall planning, development, implementation, monitoring, and quality assurance of all teacher education programs in accordance with the norms of the National Council for Teacher Education, University Grants Commission, and the University. Key Responsibilities: Academic Leadership Provide strategic leadership for B.Ed., M.Ed., Integrated Teacher Education Programmes (ITEP), and other education programmes. Ensure compliance with NCTE Regulations, UGC Regulations, NEP 2020, and other statutory requirements. Lead curriculum development, revision, and implementation. Promote innovative teaching-learning practices and educational research. Administration & Governance Manage academic, administrative, and financial affairs of the School.
