Dental Production Lab Technician

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Examines understands and follows the dentist's prescription and the required dental procedure.
• Provides (if needed) chair-side assistance to the dentists in the fabrication of dental prostheses and/or appliances.
• Making necessary adjustments to the dental prosthesis/appliances to ensure a comfortable and accurate fit of the dental prostheses/appliances.
• Assists in teaching guiding and supporting students in specific dental lab work.
• Helps students in their research projects.
• Prepares sterilizes/ disinfects organizes monitors maintains and sets up dental lab equipment as well as ensures that all dental lab instruments are cleaned and processed according to established clinical guidelines and standards.
