Faculty of History, The Stephen A Schwarzman Centre for the Humanities, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Oxford OX2 6AH and St Peter’s College, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford OX1 2DL Applications are invited for a one-year fixed-term Departmental Lecturership in Early Modern and Modern Art History, tenable from 1 October 2026. The appointee will be expected to pursue advanced study and research in the Early Modern and Modern Art History while delivering high-quality teaching and supervision at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Responsibilities will include tutorials, classes, lectures, and dissertation supervision. The successful candidate will be assigned a mentor who will be a senior member of either the Department or the Faculty. In addition, the History Faculty offers dedicated support for early-career researchers, including assistance with the preparation and submission of grant and fellowship applications through the Faculty Research Coordinator and Research Development Officer....
