The primary purpose of this position is to serves as Deputy Director of Staff (DS, one of organizations under the Command Staff) for the Air Force Installations and Mission Support Center (AFIMSC) and working with the Director of Staff (a Colonel or equivalent position) exercising the full scope of responsibility for managing the activities of the directorate. Responsibilities 1. Working with the Director of Staff, plans, organizes, and oversees the activities of the Director of Staff (to include Staff Operations, Protocol, HQ Budget, Information Protection, Public Affairs, Facilities Maintenance, History, Commander's Action Group, and Information Technology functions.
