Deputy Tax Manager

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to work closely with our Group Head of Tax in our growing Finance team based in Bath.

We will look at part-time and full-time candidates for this role.

This is a 12-month fixed‑term role.

What you’ll do

The Tax Manager will support the YTL group in ensuring corporation tax, VAT and PAYE compliance matters are dealt with. You will ensure all legal tax requirements are met, all tax returns are filed accurately and on time with HMRC, and taxes are controlled efficiently.

You will also:

• manage and control the preparation of tax disclosures in statutory and regulatory accounts
• liaise with Auditors as part of their audit of tax work
• maximise tax reliefs for capital expenditure
• oversee the preparation and submission of the corporate tax returns
• review monthly VAT returns prior to submission
