Desalination Plant and Seawater Treatment Plant Operator

Operate and monitor complex desalination and seawater treatment systems to ensure optimal performance and water quality.

Conduct regular water quality testing and analysis, adjusting treatment processes to meet stringent regulatory standards.

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on pumps, filters, membranes, and other critical equipment.

Manage chemical dosing and inventory, ensuring safe handling and accurate application for effective treatment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field is a strong advantage.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Operator (e.g., WEF, ABC) or specific desalination/membrane technology training.
