Design Engineer

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, Design & Engineering, you shall be an integral member of Design team in providing project support on the design, construction and commissioning of specialised aluminium high-speed workboats.
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to work with cross functional teams from design conceptualisation, project execution to delivery.
Key Responsibilities: Performing ship's basic and detailed design and integration. Developing shipyard standards and assisting in preparing vessel's technical specifications. Follow through on assigned projects from design review to production completion. Evaluating vendor's proposals to ensure the scopes of service/supply and lead time meet project requirements. Working with QA/QC to define acceptance criteria for inspection, test and trials to ensure that vessels meet Owners' standards and specifications.
