Design Engineer

Job Description •Provide technical and design expertise
•Understanding of Class and Flag requirements
•Scheduling of deliverables to support project schedule
•Produce detailed schematic drawings and construction drawings for vessel systems
•Updating as built drawings
•Adhere to company design standards
•Provide continual improvements to design with relevance to industry standards Job Requirement •Experience with AutoCAD and other drafting/design programs
•Experience with all facets of ship design in a production environment supporting several projects
•Passion for quality work and desire for improvement
•Independent, Objective-driven, Reliable, and Motivated
•Excellent grasp of the English language
•Exceptional attention to detail
•Demonstration of sensitivity to culturally diverse environments
•Ability to devise and implement innovative work practices aimed at improving productivity
