Design Release Engineer

**Job Description**

**DUTIES:** Lead the design and integration of battery thermal protection components. Apply advanced engineering tools and methodologies to ensure robust and reliable product development. Drive program execution by managing milestones, deliverables, and timelines. Conduct technical design reviews and oversee drawing validation activities. Develop and review DFMEAs and DRBFMs for all components and design modifications. Validate designs through simulation, testing, and analysis to ensure performance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with suppliers to achieve design, quality, cost, and timing targets. Support cross-functional teams in system-level development and integration. Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and address quality concerns. Facilitate program management activities, including team coordination and milestone tracking.
