Job Description Job Description Structure works 3D Designer (Designer II) Summary of Primary Functions: Prepares shop tickets for various pre-cast structures using 3-D modeling software and support the design team on a variety of projects and the day-today functions as it relates to design and fabrication. Prepares erection drawings using 3-D modeling software under the supervision of the Chief Designer or Design Engineer. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. - Reads and plots erection details and drawings using 3-D modeling software. - Creates shop cards by utilizing 3-D modeling programs, such as SolidWorks, and ensures drawings conform to standard detailing. - Presents scrubbed shop cards to Project Lead for their verification of correctness - Scrubs red-lines from Project Lead check prints. - Details Steel Cards fr...
