Role Overview

A Design Technologist in a design systems unit serves as a bridge between designers and developers supporting both to build consistent high-quality digital products across the organization. Design system engineer acts as a workflow integrator ensuring cohesion between design and engineering.

Ideal for someone who can take design ideas from prototypes through to production‑ready code.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers to translate high‑fidelity UI designs into interactive coded UI components.
• Build and maintain design‑system components (React, VUE, Angular) ensuring design consistency across products.
• Develop accessible, performant, responsive interfaces (WCAG standards, internationalization).
• Document design patterns to assist in creating/maintaining the style guide and code library.
