What you'll do

The Dialysis Patient Care Technician works under the supervision of an RN or Nephrologist to provide direct patient care services to individuals undergoing dialysis treatment. Dialysis Patient Care Technicians must have knowledge of the water room and water treatment processes, including water purification methods, chemical disinfectants, and water quality testing. They must be able to identify potential issues with the water system and take appropriate corrective action.
