Job Summary
Job Title: Specialized Dialysis RN Location: Miami VA Healthcare System (including 7 Community-Based Outpatient Clinics) Period of Performance: 08/12/2025 - 08/11/2030 Shift Schedule: PRN; ten (10) hour shift 6:30am-5pm Position Description: The Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized care to patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), and late-stage chronic kidney disease (CKD) in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The dialysis unit supports a capacity of 4 beds and 14 chairs per shift, delivering hemodialysis for scheduled patients, while emergent dialysis is performed in acute care areas, including the Critical Care and Emergency Department. After-hours dialysis is supported by an on-call nurse.
