 Job Summary

The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, repair and servicing of the company’s diesel trucks, trailers and other heavy vehicle fleet assets to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations. The role requires strong heavy vehicle mechanical knowledge, fault-finding ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, compliance and preventative maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, repair and maintain diesel engines in trucks and other heavy vehicles.
• Perform routine servicing and scheduled maintenance, including oil changes, filters, belts, fluid checks and general inspections.
