Opportunity Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal Trade Test preferred).
- Valid driver's license (Code 14 advantageous).
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
- Proven experience working on FAW trucks is essential.
- Experience with heavy commercial vehicles and fleet maintenance.
- Experience with engine, gearbox, differential, and brake system repairs
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Computer literacy and experience using diagnostic software.
- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on FAW trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults....
