Diesel Mechanic (Opa Locka FL)

**Waste Connections, Inc. is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic!**

We have an immediate opening for a **high-energy Diesel Mechanic** to join the team at our Miami facility. Previous waste experience is a **huge plus!** This position is **night shift** from **2 PM – 12 AM, Monday to Friday** , with **every other Saturday** .

**Pay:** $26.00 to 30.00/hr DOE

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services.
+ Conduct inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
+ Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
+ Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software programs to document repairs, parts usage, and repair times.
+ Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
