Applications are invited for the permanent post of Dietetic Support Worker based at the University Hospital of Wales (UHW). We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to join our friendly and busy team of dietitians, dietetic support workers and assistant practitioners working with the under nourished hospital population.
The role is practically based with a high emphasis on multi‑disciplinary team working and communication.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will need to be dynamic and passionate about nutrition.
You will be working to enhance the nutrition and hydration of the acute assessment unit patient population and identify patients that are at risk of malnutrition using a nutritional risk assessment as well as supporting the dietitians and nursing staff within the service. ...
