Digital Core Consultant - Backup&File

Responsibilities

• Perform consulting, lead, participate, and support IT/Business projects, RfPs, and PoCs, providing technical guidance for tools and methods related mostly but not limited to File Services and Backup Technologies.
• Installation, operation and monitoring of File Servers and Backup Servers (could involve HW, OS and SW according to defined concepts).
• Space/Capacity Management.
• Development and Optimization of Concept Documents and Operations processes.
• Study developments in Technologies around File Services and Backup in the market and identify opportunities for continual service improvement.
• Build test environments and conduct tests regarding functionality, practicality, and performance of Windows server standards and underlying tools and features (on-premise and in-cloud).
• Support problem management with root cause analysis and implementation of adequate solution measures.
