**Job Summary and Responsibilities**

As our Director, ED Nursing Operations, you will be responsible and accountable for the management of nursing practice, nursing education and professional development, administration, and nursing service for your areas of oversight.

Every day you will ensure the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies, programs, and services that are evidence-based and consistent with professional standards and values, under the guidelines and vision set forth by the Chief Nursing Officer & the Vice President, Patient Care Services. You will create an environment that supports the practice of nursing, nursing retention, and recruitment, and ensure the professional development and competence of your direct reports, along with nursing and other support staff.
