Summary This position is located in the Division of Infrastructure, Environment and Private Sector, Department of Compact Operations (DCO), Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-15, MCC uses a pay-band system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 3A which is generally equal to GS-15. Responsibilities Provide authoritative technical leadership on oil- and gas-fired baseload and peaking generation, fuel supply and dispatch economics, and nuclear power systems, including emerging small modular reactor (SMR) technologies. Serve as senior subject matter expert on oil and gas-fired baseload and peaking power plants; combined-cycle and open-cycle generation technologies; fuel supply, dispatch economics, and system reliability; and/or nuclear power systems, including conventional reactors and SMRs.
