Director-Facilities Engineering and Maintenance

Purpose:
The Director of Facilities Engineering and Maintenance (FEM) is responsible to provide leadership, strategic planning, organization, direction, and oversight of Maintenance and Engineering functions. This position typically reports to the Senior Regional Directors of Facilities, Engineering and Maintenance.

Responsibilities:

+ It is the Director's responsibility to carry out the systems operating goals and objectives administering all programs within the System meeting standards set forth by The Joint Commission (TJC), federal codes, state codes and city codes.
+ The Director shall establish and maintain departmental organization through the development of a sound organizational structure, policies, and procedures for operational standards, safety, training, energy management, information systems, working standards, etc.
