Director, Global Sourcing

Overview

The primary responsibility of this position is partnering with our instruments operations leaders and providing strategic sourcing expertise to our global procurement teams . This role will focus on developing strategic alliances with existing suppliers, identifying new suppliers, driving supplier performance and cultivating redundancy and resiliency across our instrument supply chain. The Director position is a lead member of the instruments operations staff and represents a senior-level sourcing partner with a primary focus on materials for life science and diagnostic instruments, responsible for :$150M in spend . The successful candidate will possess and demonstrate a deep understanding of biological, immunological and recombinant materials as well as global vendors and their capabilities.
