**SUMMARY**
Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer Executive Management, responsible to provide for the operational and financial management of the Graduate Medical Education Department and its accredited/non-accredited residency/fellowship training program. Requires a comprehensive and detailed understanding of national accreditation policies, educational administration and hospital policies, as well as a high degree of initiative and independent judgment. Will continually assess and direct a wide range of programmatic issues including long range planning and Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) program applications. Will ensure various administrative committees such as the GMEC, Clinical Competency Committees and the Program Evaluation Committees operate in accordance with ACGME standards.
