Opportunity Description
Job Summary:
Director of Alumni will plan and implement an ongoing, comprehensive annual development effort among alumni, students, parents, faculty and friends of the College of Nursing at Upstate Medical University. This will include direct mail, face-to-face solicitation, electronic solicitation, grant writing and grant administration, and donor stewardship. In addition to annual campaign fundraising, the successful candidate should have a solid understanding of moves management, including the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gift donors.
Other Duties to include but not limited to:
+ Provide leadership and support to the board of directors. Recruit new members, promote participation and provide opportunities for board development. Ensure submission of annual tax reports and maintain currency of legal materials such as minutes and bylaws.
+ Manage and adhere to alumni association budgets.
