Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Directs the design of employee benefit plans and delivery of benefits programs and services, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability programs, and workers’ compensation. Ensures benefits programs and services are provided fairly and equitably in alignment university strategic objectives, needs, and realities

+ Leads the development and execution of the university’s benefits strategy. Evaluates benefits needs and provides recommendations to senior leadership on program improvements or changes

+ Manages benefits related systems and tools. Responsible for the accurate documentation, management, and maintenance of benefits and employment records and data. Ensures benefits data and analytic reports in compliance with state and federal rules and regulations
