Director, Engineering Port Elgin, ON – permanent placement at our Port Elgin office.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the utilization of the engineering personnel assigned to them.

Responsible for the technical integration with Bruce Power and Candu Energy Inc head office.

Responsible for site technical point of contact with Bruce Power.

Ensure qualified and appropriate staff are working on the project and are assigned work within their experience and skills.

Provide guidance, technical insights, supervision and feedback to the Engineering Managers that are part of the team.

Oversight of technical deliverables budget, schedule and quality.

Ensure that the final deliverables meet customer requirements specified in the contract and overall alignment with nuclear codes and standards.

Review and approve or delegate the approval of key technical documentation under supervision.
