Director of Estates – Royal London and Mile End Hospitals

Job overview

The Estates teams at The Royal London and Mile End Hospitals are responsible for the day‑to‑day repairs, maintenance and operational testing of a wide range of building services and critical infrastructure across the Trust. As Director of Estates, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to these teams, ensuring high‑quality, compliant and responsive services across all sites.

You will oversee the management of both retained and PFI estates, ensuring robust performance, contract compliance and value for money. The role also carries Trust‑wide responsibility for Fire Safety and Health & Safety across the relevant sites.

We are looking for a highly motivated, flexible and experienced estates professional who can demonstrate:

·A strong understanding of HTMs, ACOPs, BS/EN standards and SFG20.
